Our technology and innovation, partnerships and networks combine to deliver a unique set of products and services that help people, businesses and governments realize their greatest potential. _Overview of the Role_ The Government Engagement team is responsible for developing and implementing strategies to drive Mastercard’s business and policy priorities with governments and public sector organizations globally. As a Senior Analyst, you will support the Government Engagement team on a range of activities including: * Conducting research and analysis on policy and regulatory developments, market trends, and government priorities. * Supporting the development of strategic plans and initiatives to advance Mastercard’s business and policy objectives with governments. * Preparing briefing materials, presentations, and other communications for internal and external audiences. * Monitoring and tracking government engagement activities and measuring their impact. * Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including business development, public policy, and legal, to ensure alignment and coordination on government engagement efforts. * Supporting special projects and initiatives as needed. _Role Responsibilities_ * Conduct research and analysis on policy and regulatory developments, market trends, and government priorities. * Develop and maintain a strong understanding of the payments industry, including trends, competitive landscape, and regulatory environment. * Prepare briefing materials, presentations, and other communications for internal and external audiences, including senior executives. * Monitor and track government engagement activities and measure their impact. * Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including business development, public policy, and legal, to ensure alignment and coordination on government engagement efforts. * Support special projects and initiatives as needed. * Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including government officials, industry associations, and other relevant organizations. _All About You_ * Bachelor's degree required. Advanced degree preferred. * Proven experience in government affairs, public policy, or business development, preferably in the payments industry or a related field. * Strong analytical and research skills, including the ability to synthesize complex information and develop actionable insights. * Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to communicate complex issues in a clear and concise manner. * Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams. * Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously. * Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (e.g., Word, Excel, PowerPoint). * Understanding of the payments industry, including trends, competitive landscape, and regulatory environment. * Experience working with government officials and/or public sector organizations. * Ability to travel as needed.
