Senior Analyst / Associate M&A (m/w/d)

We are looking for a senior analyst/associate (m/w/d) for our client, a leading international investment bank.

Tasks

Your Task

• Counseling national and international clients on buy- and sell-side M&A transactions, public takeovers, as well as capital market and financing issues
• Direct cooperation with C-Level decision-makers, founders, and investment committees
• Preparation and responsibility for financial models, company valuations, and market analyses
• Development of high-quality presentations, decision-making documents, and due diligence materials for senior stakeholders
• Active support in originating and executing live transactions across various sectors
• Participation in client meetings, management calls, and site visits
• Tight cooperation with senior bankers while simultaneously being responsible for one's own workstreams

Qualification

Your Profile

• 2-4 years of relevant professional experience in the field of M&A, corporate finance advisory, private equity, transaction services, or leveraged finance
• A very good academic degree in business administration, economics, finance, engineering, or a comparable study program
• Outstanding analytical and numerical skills as well as a profound understanding of financial connections
• Fluent German and English language skills
• High self-motivation, teamwork, and the ability to navigate a dynamic, performance-oriented environment with ease
