Senior AI/Python Developer - Remote Work Type @ Directio Sp. z o.o.

5 years of professional experience with Python, demonstrating deep expertise in designing, building, and optimizing backend services, automation scripts, and AI-driven applications; Proven experience working with Generative AI tools such as Claude, Cursor, GitHub Copilot, or similar, with the ability to integrate them effectively into real-world solutions; Strong background in modern data retrieval architectures, including hands-on experience with vector databases, embedding stores, and hybrid models; Excellent understanding of machine learning concepts, including supervised and unsupervised learning, regression, classification, clustering, decision trees, random forests, gradient boosting, neural networks, and deep learning; Familiarity with popular Python libraries such as NumPy, pandas, scikit-learn, TensorFlow, Keras, PyTorch, OpenCV, and Matplotlib; Experience with data preprocessing, feature engineering, model training, evaluation, and deployment; Strong analytical skills, with the ability to analyze complex data sets, identify trends, and draw meaningful conclusions; Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively present technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences; Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail; Experience working in an Agile environment, with knowledge of Scrum or Kanban methodologies; Familiarity with cloud-based platforms such as AWS, Google Cloud, or Microsoft Azure; Strong understanding of software development life cycles, including requirements gathering, design, implementation, testing, deployment, and maintenance; Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks, managing multiple projects simultaneously, and meeting deadlines; Experience working on large-scale projects with distributed teams, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring project deliverables are met.
