Senior AI/ML Data Engineer - Remote - EMEA

As a Senior AI/ML Data Engineer, you’ll take a leading role in shaping the foundation of the company’s AI and data ecosystem. You’ll be responsible for designing robust data pipelines, building reliable ETL/ELT processes, and implementing systems that power AI-driven product features. Responsibilities: • Design and implement robust data pipelines using Apache Beam, AWS Glue, or similar technologies, • Develop reliable ETL/ELT processes to extract, transform, and load data from various sources, • Implement systems that power AI-driven product features, such as recommender systems, natural language processing, or computer vision, • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate AI and data engineering capabilities into the company’s products and services, • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the company’s AI and data ecosystem, including its architecture, components, and interdependencies, • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in AI, machine learning, and data engineering, • Participate in code reviews and contribute to the development of high-quality software, • Work closely with data scientists and other stakeholders to ensure that AI-driven product features meet business requirements and user needs. Requirements: • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, or a related field, • At least 5 years of experience in AI/ML data engineering, preferably with a focus on cloud-based technologies, • Strong understanding of machine learning algorithms and their applications, • Experience with big data processing frameworks such as Apache Spark, Hadoop, or similar technologies, • Familiarity with cloud-based platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure, • Knowledge of data modeling, data warehousing, and business intelligence concepts, • Strong programming skills in languages such as Python, Java, or Scala, • Experience with containerization using Docker, • Certification in AI/ML or a related field is a plus.
