Senior AI Platform Engineer (m/w/d)

You won't just build features, but shape a scalable AI platform technically? In this role, you'll take responsibility for architecture, stability, and future-proofing – and bring KI workloads productively and securely into real environments.

• You shape the architecture and core services of Huacaya and develop the platform technically further

• Scalable backend and platform components (APIs, orchestration, model management, integrations) are within your responsibility

• KI workloads you lead stably, performantly, and securely into productive environments

• You optimize deployment, observability, and performance continuously with a clear quality standard

• You steer the integration in cloud-, on-prem- and hybrid infrastructure sovereignly

• Together with development teams and our customers, you develop robust, sustainable solution designs

• You actively drive technical decisions forward and take ownership for sustainable architecture principles

• A completed degree in (Applied) Mathematics, Physics, Computer Science, Data Science or a comparable field forms the basis for this position

• Excellent communication skills in German and English enable you to work effectively with various stakeholders

• Multiple years of experience in backend-, platform- or cloud-engineering form the foundation of your technical sovereignty

• You move confidently in Python as well as modern API frameworks like FastAPI or Flask and develop sustainable, performant services

• Containerized architectures with Docker and Kubernetes are part of your professional standard

• You are familiar with cloud- and infrastructure technologies such as Azure, AWS or comparable platforms

• Ideal would be if you had already gained experience with AI-, ML- or MLOps workloads and know their specific requirements in productive operation

• You work with a strong ownership mindset, combine strategic thinking with pragmatic solution orientation, and take responsibility for sustainable results
