As a Senior AI Engineer at Eraneos, you will bridge the areas of Data Science, Machine Learning, Software Development, and Consulting. Your task is to develop and deploy AI models that deliver measurable results for our clients. You will work closely with stakeholders to understand business problems, translate them into data-driven approaches, and transfer insights into production-ready end-to-end solutions. You will design, implement, and evaluate AI and ML use cases – from classic ML to state-of-the-art LLMs – ensuring their robust deployment and monitoring in real-world environments. In addition to prototyping, you will focus on MLOps practices, software development, and integration to ensure the reproducibility, scalability, and continuous improvement of AI systems. You will communicate your findings clearly and confidently to both technical and non-technical audiences, making complex solutions understandable and actionable. You enjoy thinking beyond the short-term implementation level to achieve a sustainable impact for our clients' businesses.

• You have demonstrable experience in Data Science, Statistics, Machine Learning, Software Development, and/or applied AI projects.
• Python skills: You are fluent in Python and confidently use state-of-the-art as well as common (ML) frameworks and libraries.
• MLOps & Deployment: You have experience with model serving, monitoring, and CI/CD workflows (e.g., MLflow, Airflow, Docker, GitHub Actions).
• Software skills: You write clean, maintainable code and can structure projects using modern software engineering practices (FastAPI, SQLAlchemy, Pydantic).
• AI & NLP Expertise: You have practical experience with NLP and LLMs such as GPT, Claude, Gemini, Llama, or Deepseek.
• Foundations of Data Engineering: SQL and working with databases are second nature to you; you know how to design efficient pipelines for training and inference.
• Cloud experience: You are familiar with ML stacks on AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• You speak fluent German (C1) and English.
