Senior AI Engineer

We are looking for an experienced specialist in AI who will develop advanced solutions based on artificial intelligence and co-create innovative products. As a Senior AI Engineer, you will: * Create and implement machine learning and deep learning models focused on solving real business problems, * Develop and implement AI/LLM applications in cloud environments (AWS or GCP), * Design architectures based on LLM, such as Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), Agentic RAG, or Model Context Protocol (MCP), * Integrate models with production applications, including mechanisms for Function Calling/A2A, * Create pipelines for processing contextual data (embedding, chunking, vectorization), * Design and implement processes for indexing data in vector-based databases (e.g., Qdrant, Weaviate, Pinecone), * Create prompts, test the quality of model outputs, and optimize LLM behaviors, * Share knowledge and mentor junior team members, * Support the team in the best practices related to ML, MLOps, and data engineering, * Collaborate with the development and business teams on AI projects in areas such as automation, analytics, and integration with external services (e.g., OCR, classification, generative UI), * Analyze the latest trends in AI and seek their application in practice, * Create and maintain technical documentation and report research and deployment results. * Apply if: * You are very familiar with the Python language and AI/ML ecosystem (e.g., PyTorch, TensorFlow, scikit-learn), * You have experience with frameworks such as Claude Code, LangChain, LlamaIndex, LangGraph, and Pydantic, * You have practical knowledge of cloud environments (AWS or GCP) and deploying AI applications in these ecosystems, * You are familiar with prompt engineering, agent architectures, contextualization of data and models RAG, * You have experience working with tools for evaluating model quality (e.g., eval frameworks, automated tests), * You are familiar with Git, Docker, CI/CD, REST/JSON, microservice architectures, * You have experience in function engineering, data processing, and working with large datasets, * You can optimize and scale AI models, * You have mentoring skills, can share knowledge, and want to share it, * You can solve complex technical problems and think analytically, * You have experience leading research and experiments on new AI methods, * You can translate business needs into language and structure available data, * You are fluent in Polish at the C1 level – you can process data and documentation and effectively communicate in a business environment in this language, * You are comfortable with a hybrid work model – work is 100% remote, with occasional team meetings in Krakow (2 times a month). * Great if you also: * Have experience building server-side MCP or developer tools (e.g., VS Code extensions, Claude Desktop, Continue.dev), * Are familiar with AI agent frameworks, such as CrewAI, N8N, or similar, * Are familiar with explainable AI (XAI) methods and can interpret models, * Have experience working with MLOps tools (e.g., MLflow, Kubeflow, Airflow, Vertex AI Pipelines), * Are familiar with DataOps environments, * Are open to working in an office in Krakow 2 days a week. * About inFaktu: * Since 2008, we have changed the accounting market in Poland, * For several years, we have successfully introduced open banking solutions – we combine the world of accounting with the world of finance, * We simplify the process of setting up a company and facilitate business operations through our application, * We have over 800 accountants who use our application to account for inFaktu clients. * We offer: * The opportunity to work on innovative AI projects, * Freedom to choose tools and approaches to solving problems, * The opportunity to participate in industry conferences, * Work in an innovative technology and accounting company, where values matter, * A comfortable office in the center of Krakow or Warsaw, * The opportunity to work based on a work agreement or B2B, * Clear talks about results and development, * A relaxed work environment, meetings, and integration trips, * Necessary tools: MacBook Pro or Air, * Electric adjustable desk, comfortable ergonomic office chair, * Daily lunches in the office at company expense, fresh fruits, and good coffee, * Subsidies for private medical care for you and your family/partner, * Subsidies for a MultiSport Benefit card for you and a close person, * Subsidies for inFaktu accounting services, * The opportunity to join a life insurance policy, * Group English language classes, * Running training sessions with a professional trainer, * The opportunity to park your car, a covered bicycle parking area, * Relocation package, if you decide to relocate to Krakow. *
