Senior Agricultural Plant Operator

Springland Ag Contracting Pty Ltd requires several Senior Agricultural Plant Operators to oversee machinery operations on our clients’ farms located in Cressy, Tasmania and surrounds. As the Senior Agricultural Plant Operator, you will play a crucial role overseeing machinery operations, preparation of soil, production of hay, straw and silage, sowing and harvesting different crops, knowledge for fertilizing and spraying, managing plant disease and operating irrigation systems and carrying out various tasks as required. The ideal candidate will have experience in operating and maintaining agricultural equipment, including tractors, harvesters, and other machinery. You will also be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of all equipment, as well as maintaining accurate records of equipment usage and maintenance. This is a physically demanding role that requires the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing circumstances.
