Senior Accounting Manager (m/f/d)

As Head of Accounting, you will be independently responsible for all accounting processes at Tomorrow end-to-end. You are the central point of contact for all accounting questions in the company and actively drive the automation of our accounting processes, particularly through the use of AI tools.

Your tasks will include in particular:

• Monthly accounting: Invoice management and preliminary accounting in Spendesk (incoming invoice workflow, approvals) as well as complete, independent booking of all business transactions in DATEV (coding, checking, recording)
• Ensuring timely monthly and annual financial statements, including reconciliation of closing entries – our monthly statements are reliably available by the 11th of the following month
• Processing and monitoring of payment transactions
• Central point of contact for all accounting matters – internally as well as with tax advisors and auditors
• Accompanying the audit: You will provide documents and clarify auditor inquiries
• Continuous development and automation of accounting processes, especially through the introduction and advancement of AI tools

• Commercial or accounting apprenticeship, ideally as a tax assistant, and corresponding professional experience in financial accounting
• Very good DATEV and good Excel skills, ideally also experience with Spendesk
• A strong affinity for numbers and an independent, careful, and structured way of working, as well as flexibility and a quick grasp of new processes and an affinity for digital processes
• You speak German and English
• A basic understanding of AI and its application possibilities, ideally first practical experience with AI tools for process optimization
• You stand behind the idea that banking needs a stance: for example, an account that doesn't invest a single cent in weapons or fossil fuels, and you are eager to shape a better tomorrow for everyone with us

€57,000–€65,000 gross per year
