Senior Accountant (m/f/d)

As a Senior Accountant (m/f/d), you will independently ensure that our accounting runs reliably and that important figures are available as a basis for decisions.

• You will take over ongoing financial accounting, from the coding and booking of current business transactions to account reconciliation and clarification
• You will monitor intercompany reconciliation on a monthly basis
• You will book and monitor accruals, deferrals, and other closing-relevant transactions
• You will participate in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with HGB
• You will be the central point of contact for auditors and other external stakeholders
• You will prepare VAT advance returns and other statutory reports
• You will actively work on the optimization, further development, and digitalization of accounting processes

• You have successfully completed a degree in business administration or completed commercial vocational training
• You have sound knowledge of accounting according to HGB and experience in preparing audited HGB financial statements, as well as confident interaction with auditors
• You have several years of professional experience in general ledger accounting, ideally in a medium-sized or international environment, and initial group experience
• You are familiar with SAP S/4HANA and MS Office, especially Excel
• You communicate confidently in German and English and are eager to work in an international environment
• Diligence, enjoyment of working with numbers, and your team and hands-on mentality round off your profile
