Senior Accountant - UAE Based

Job Purpose We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Accountant (M.Com) to oversee accounting operations, ensure accurate financial reporting, and maintain compliance with applicable standards and regulations. The Senior Accountant will play a key role in managing accounts, supervising junior accountants, and supporting strategic decision-making. Key Responsibilities Oversee day-to-day accounting operations and ensure timely recording of financial transactions. Prepare and review financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements. Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and standards, such as International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP). Supervise and mentor junior accountants to ensure accurate and timely completion of tasks. Support the preparation of financial reports for management and external stakeholders. Key Requirements Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field; M.Com preferred. At least 5 years of experience in accounting, with a focus on financial reporting and compliance. Strong understanding of accounting principles, laws, and regulations. Excellent analytical, communication, and leadership skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
