To support our Accounting team, we are looking for a

Senior Accountant (m/f/d)

for an unlimited, full-time position, effective as soon as possible.

Responsibilities

• Responsibility for accounts receivable accounting
• Involvement in fixed asset accounting, general ledger accounting, and treasury
• Processing of payment transactions in accounting
• Participation in monthly account reconciliation
• Responsibility for intercompany reconciliation with international subsidiaries
• Ensuring compliance with internal group policies
• Participation in monthly and annual closing processes and preparation of reporting
• Project support

Profile

• Business administration degree with a focus on accounting or a successfully completed commercial apprenticeship with further training as a certified accountant or an equivalent qualification
• At least 2 years of solid professional experience in accounting
• Good knowledge of external accounting (US GAAP/HGB)
• SOX knowledge is an advantage
• Good knowledge of SAP modules FI, FI-AA, possibly Bellin (COUPA), YAMBS, and Blackline
• Proficient in MS Office, especially Excel, IT affinity
• Good command of English, both written and spoken
• High resilience and ability to work independently
• Good communication skills
• Strong sense of responsibility, loyalty, and discretion
