Senior Accountant (m/f/d)

The company is one of the established market players in its industry in Germany and is responsible for the management of extensive assets. A particular focus is on close collaboration with institutional investors, for whom individual strategies are developed for the sustainable further development and optimisation of portfolios. With several locations in important economic centres, the range of services includes both the operational management of demanding projects and support in strategic decisions, investment valuations and transactions in the purchase and sale process.

Tasks

• Preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements in accordance with HGB
• Execution of current accounting, including reconciliation and clarification of accounts
• Maintenance of the general ledger as well as control and reconciliation of the sub-ledgers
• Assisting in the further development and improvement of accounting processes
• Ensuring compliance with legal requirements and internal accounting guidelines
• Close coordination with tax advisors, auditors and internal departments

Qualification

• Commercial training with additional qualification, for example as a Bilanzbuchhalter (m/f/d), or an equivalent qualification
• Several years of professional experience in finance and accounting
• Sound knowledge of accounting according to HGB; basic tax knowledge is desirable
• Safe handling of common accounting and ERP solutions
