Senior Accountant (m/w/d) Financial Accounting & Process Development

Job description

You keep the numerical world under control – precise and digital. As a Senior Accountant (m/w/d), you ensure that accounting runs smoothly – precisely, on time, and in compliance with regulations. From debtor and creditor accounting to asset accounting and monthly and annual financial statements according to HGB and IFRS: You maintain an overview.

Tasks

  • As a point of contact for auditors and tax consultants, you are a reliable interface to the outside world.
  • Internally, you support management with analyses and evaluations.
  • You actively participate in budget and forecast processes and drive the digitalization of workflows forward.
  • You work on exciting special projects – from system migrations to the introduction of new ERP modules.
  • You ensure that statutory requirements and internal guidelines are met and document processes clearly and comprehensibly.
  • You share your expertise, support other departments with accounting-related questions, and accompany new colleagues in their induction.
  • If management needs quick answers, you deliver precise ad-hoc analyses.

Qualification

You hold a completed degree in Business Administration, Finance or a comparable qualification – ideally supplemented by further education in accounting or the IFRS field. With your several years of experience in financial accounting, especially in main and asset accounting as well as annual financial statements, you are an expert in your field. Consolidated financial statements according to HGB and IFRS as well as intercompany topics are familiar to you.

Required Skills

  • Structured, self-reliant, and solution-oriented working style.
  • Secure German and English language skills in writing and speaking.
  • Familiarity with SAP and MS Excel as well as specialized tools.
  • Motivation to take over the leadership of an accounting team and actively shape the future.
