Senior Accountant

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join our client's team. In this role, you will be responsible for a variety of accounting and tax functions, including: Responsibilities: Finalizing year-end accounting files for compilation and review engagements. Generating comprehensive financial statements for compilation and review engagements, ensuring compliance with ASPE disclosure requirements. Preparing and filing corporate and personal income tax returns. Preparing and filing GST/HST returns. Preparing T4 and T5 slips. Assisting with other tax-related matters. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field. CPA designation or in progress. Minimum of 3 years of progressive accounting experience. Strong understanding of Canadian accounting and tax principles. Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage). Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
