Focused on early drug research and development based on our F&E approach, which involves understanding the biological properties of cancer diseases as a whole in order to treat them targeted. As the basis for this, we use carefully collected and curated tissue samples and corresponding clinical data, which are processed into our own comprehensive database. Using innovative biomathematical and bioinformatic methods, we identify new therapeutic target molecules through these data. From high-quality tissue samples, we develop 2D and 3D cell models that enable us to validate target molecules and develop therapies in an environment as close to the patient as possible.

We are looking for an

Senior Accountant / Senior Accountant (m/w/d)

Your tasks

• Responsibility for the main book, as well as for the fixed asset and accounts payable accounting including invoicing and debt collection
• Accounting support for two small subsidiaries
• Banking and creating of income statements
• Preparation of value-added tax returns, conducting of reporting (ZM and Z4 reports, statistics)
• Intercompany adjustments
• Formation of active accounting provisions and reserves
• Preparation of the annual financial statement according to HGB and accompanying the audit
• Contact person for auditors, tax consultants and financial authorities
• Care of a foreign personnel company including monthly and annual accounting control in cooperation with external accounting offices
• Sick leave and holiday cover for accounts receivable accounting

Our requirements

• Economic education and several years of professional experience in comprehensive accounting, including financial statement preparation according to HGB
• Further training as a certified accountant (m/w/d) or business administration studies would be a plus, but not a must
• User knowledge in handling SAP (SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud desirable)
• Open, team-oriented, communicative personality with independent, structured working style
• Good English skills
