Your Tasks

• You are responsible together with the General Ledger Team for preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual statements (HGB/IFRS) and deliver detailed analyses as a basis for important decisions.
• You are our go-to expert for aligning connected companies and ensure that our settlement prices have a firm grip.
• You do not settle for the status quo, but define and optimize existing and new financial processes to make us more efficient.
• You ensure compliance with accounting standards, conduct regular account reconciliations, and support sovereignly during external audits and tax inspections.
• In addition to our German value-added tax declaration, you are also responsible for our international tax reporting obligations and ensure the correct processing.

Your Profile

• You have a successfully completed degree in economics (focus on finance/accounting) or equivalent qualification (e.g. certified accountant).
• You bring at least 5 years of professional experience in accounting and have already gained profound insights into the topics Intercompany Alignment and settlement prices.
• Ideal would be if you had already gained some experience in French and/or Italian accounting as well as tax law.
• You love building structures, think in processes, and keep an overview even with complex matters.
• You have already worked with a ERP system (ideally Business Central) and are eager to use modern tools like Notion or Slack.
• You possess excellent German language skills and are confident in English communication.
• You work structured, reliable, and proactively approach people. You live in Berlin or want to move here for your next career step.
