Senior Accountant/Finance Specialist (m/f/d) - remote

You are our central Finance Point of Contact - the person where all threads come together. You will be responsible for the complete operative finance, build the processes for it yourself, and automate what can be automated.

You will receive real ownership, maximum autonomy, and the chance to shape Finance the way you see fit.

The position is initially limited to one year. We value long-term cooperation, therefore an extension or takeover into a permanent position is aimed for.

Responsibilities:

Operative Finance

• Accounts Payable & Accounts Receivable: Invoice processing, document verification, dunning.

• Payment Transactions & Banks: Daily business, bank statements, reconciliations.

• Travel Expenses & Per Diems: Team expenses efficiently via modern tools (e.g., Spendesk).

• Revenue Reconciliation: Reconcile App Store, Google Play, and PayPal with bank receipts.

Tax Advice & Authorities

• Central point of contact and close collaboration with our tax advisory firm.

• Contact person for tax audits and auditor audits.

Collaboration with Departments

• Close coordination with the departments, especially Sales: Deal reconciliations, commission/bonus issues, ongoing exchange on figures.

Payroll & Compensation

• Sales bonus calculation and preparation, review, and release of payroll - including international payroll (e.g., Deel).

Closings & Compliance

• Participation in monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements according to HGB, budgeting/financial planning.

Processes & Systems

• Introduction of Scopevisio as a new Finance system, maintenance of master data.

• Further development of our Finance processes.

Automation & AI

• You decide where automation is really worthwhile and build corresponding interfaces between our tools.

• Active use of AI tools to make recurring tasks more efficient.

• Experience: Several years, ideally as the sole person responsible across multiple finance disciplines (accounting, payroll, closings).

• Tools: Proficient use of common accounting software such as DATEV is mandatory; experience with tools like Scopevisio, Spendesk, or HubSpot (as CRM/booking tool in conjunction with Sales) is advantageous.

• Mindset: Digitally and AI-savvy, actively uses AI tools to increase efficiency.

• Work Style: Independent, proactive, with real ownership.

• Languages: Very good German, good English.
