Senior Accountant / Senior Accountant (m/w/d)

The PRIME HR Agentur GmbH is seeking a senior finance expert (m/w/d) on behalf of an established and economically successful industrial company with international presence. In the course of further development of the financial sector, we are looking for a personality who takes responsibility, develops processes, and acts as a competent point of contact within the accounting department.

Aufgaben

• Preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual statements in accordance with statutory accounting regulations
• Participation in consolidating and preparing financial data at group level
• Ensuring proper and transparent financial reporting
• Independent management of selected balance sheet and profit/loss account areas
• Verification and coordination of accounts, as well as monitoring internal transactions
• Closely working with auditors, tax consultants, and internal decision-makers
• Support in audits, as well as in tax and commercial law questions
• Presentation of business economic evaluations and decision-making bases for management
• Participation in the preparation of statistics, reports, and reporting
• Further development of existing processes in finance and accounting
• Support in digitalization projects and the introduction of efficient workflows
• Participation in cross-sectional themes and strategic special projects

Qualifikation

• SUCCESSFUL completion of a degree in business administration, finance or accounting or equivalent further education in the accounting field
• MULTI-YEAR professional experience in finance and accounting
• Very good knowledge of preparing statements according to HGB
• Experience in the group environment or working with group-wide reporting structures is advantageous
• Understanding of business economic relationships and analytical thinking
• Safe handling of ERP systems and common MS-Office applications
• High affinity for numbers and meticulous work ethic
• Pleasure in critically questioning existing processes and implementing improvements
• Independent working combined with team spirit and communication skillsGood German and English language skills in writing and speaking
