Senior Accountant / Financial Accountant (m/f/d)

As a Senior Accountant / Financial Accountant, you will become part of our central Accounting team. You will take over the professional leadership of the AP/AR Accountants and work closely with Controlling, Treasury, tax advisors, and auditors. Furthermore, you will support the further development of a modern, international finance organization.

• Preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements according to HGB and IFRS
• Independent support of several companies
• Professional leadership and support of AP/AR Accountants
• Participation in group reporting and intercompany reconciliations
• Preparation of sales tax pre-declarations and other tax notifications
• Coordination and professional support during annual financial statement and tax audits
• Participation in the further development of our ERP system Oracle NetSuite
• Analysis and optimization of accounting processes
• Close cooperation with the Controlling, Treasury, and Operations departments

• Successfully completed commercial apprenticeship with further training as a Financial Accountant or comparable qualification
• At least five years of professional experience in accounting, including solid, several years of experience in the independent preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
• Good knowledge of HGB and IFRS
• Experience in a corporate group environment
• Good German and English skills (minimum B2 level)
• Proficient in Excel; ERP experience (e.g., NetSuite, SAP, or Microsoft Dynamics) is an advantage
