Senior Account Director

Job Purpose This role will be responsible for leading one of our key global accounts, where you’ll work with the global GPJ team and a wider agency village to deliver complex sponsorship, exhibition and experiential marketing projects across the APAC region. Key Responsibilities Client / Account Management Responsible for retaining and growing the assigned account, you will proactively seek opportunities to do more for our clients, identifying new business opportunities and developing strategies to increase revenue. You will also be responsible for building strong relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, partners and colleagues. Project Management Work closely with the project management team to deliver high-quality projects on time and within budget. This includes managing project timelines, budgets, and resources, as well as ensuring that all projects are delivered in accordance with GPJ’s quality standards. Team Management Lead a small team of account managers and coordinators, providing guidance, support and coaching to help them develop their skills and achieve their goals. Communication Develop strong relationships with clients, partners and colleagues through effective communication, negotiation and influencing. This includes developing and delivering presentations, reports and proposals, as well as communicating project progress and results. Business Development Identify new business opportunities and develop strategies to increase revenue. This includes researching potential clients, identifying key decision-makers, and developing pitches and proposals to win new business. Education Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., marketing, communications). 5+ years of experience in account management or a related field. Strong understanding of the marketing industry and trends. Excellent communication, negotiation and influencing skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
