Senior ABB 800xA Batch Engineer / DCS Engineer (Pharma) – Kalundborg, Denmark Project Start: September 1, 2026 Contract: 12 months + possibility of extension Rate: 55-65 euro/h For a global leader in the pharmaceutical industry, undertaking one of the largest projects in Europe, we are looking for an experienced Senior ABB 800xA Batch Engineer / DCS Engineer. If you have many years of experience with the ABB 800xA system, work comfortably in a pharmaceutical environment, and excel in the area of Batch Management, this role will be ideal for you. Scope of Responsibilities Development of ABB 800xA — programming, configuration, and expansion of the control system. Creation of Batch applications — designing, modifying, and optimizing Batch Management solutions. Participation in start-ups, tests, and optimization of process automation systems. Collaboration with project, production, and engineering teams. Solving technical problems and providing support during commissioning. Work in accordance with GMP and standards applicable in the pharmaceutical sector. Requirements 5–10 years of experience with ABB 800xA. Very good knowledge of Batch Management. Experience in a pharmaceutical or biotechnological environment. Practical knowledge of DCS. Experience in FAT/SAT and commissioning is a plus. Fluent English. Right to work legally in Denmark (mandatory condition). What we offer 12-month contract with an option to extend. Project start: September 1, 2026. Accommodation provided by the client.
