Senior Ab Initio Integration Consultant

Psybergate is an IT company that builds bespoke software solutions and provides highly skilled resources to its clients. We are looking for a Senior Ab Initio Integration Consultant to join our financial services client based in Sandton for a hybrid 12-month contract role. A skilled Ab Initio developer specializing in implementing data processing solutions. The role encompasses business and systems requirement analysis, technical design, development, and end-to-end landscape implementation using Ab Initio's graphical workflow-based integration platform. Key responsibilities include: • Conducting workshops with the client to understand their requirements and develop a comprehensive understanding of their business processes. • Collaborating with the client's IT team to identify and prioritize integration projects, and developing technical designs for these projects. • Developing and implementing Ab Initio workflows that integrate data from various sources, transforming it into a usable format, and loading it into target systems. • Providing training and support to the client's IT team on the use of Ab Initio workflows. • Collaborating with other teams within Psybergate to ensure seamless integration with existing solutions and technologies. • Participating in project meetings and providing regular status updates to stakeholders. • Ensuring that all work is performed in accordance with Psybergate's quality standards, policies, and procedures. Requirements: • 5+ years of experience as an Ab Initio developer or consultant. • Strong understanding of data processing concepts and the ability to design and implement efficient workflows. • Experience working with financial services clients and their specific requirements. • Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills. • Ability to work independently and as part of a team. • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
