Assessment Hub Lead – SEND Team Manager
£44,246 – £50,076 | Full-time Permanent
Kent, Hybrid (3 days office/week)
We’re working with a Local Authority who are seeking a confident, experienced leader to head up a busy SEND assessment team.

As the SEND Team Manager you will:
- Oversee the statutory 20-week EHC process
- Chair decision-making panels
- Ensure EHCPs are consistently high-quality, child-focused, and legally sound
- Be responsible for team development, performance, and strategic service improvement—using data, insight, and collaboration to drive outcomes
As the SEND Team Manager you will have:
- Strong SEND knowledge and local authority experience - experirence managing complex caseloads
- Proven leadership in managing teams, budgets, and service delivery
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- A sharp eye for quality assurance and statutory compliance
