The Role: We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated SEND Teaching Assistant to support students with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND). You will work closely with teachers, parents, and specialists to ensure each child receives the tailored support they need. Key Responsibilities: • Provide individualized support to students with SEND, including those with physical disabilities, learning difficulties, and emotional needs. • Collaborate with teaching staff to develop and implement personalized education plans. • Support students in accessing the curriculum, participating in lessons, and achieving their academic goals. • Communicate effectively with parents, carers, and other professionals involved in a child's education. • Maintain accurate records of student progress and provide regular feedback to teachers and parents. Requirements: • A relevant qualification in SEND or a related field (e.g., teaching assistant, learning support worker). • Experience working with children with SEND, including those with physical disabilities, learning difficulties, and emotional needs. • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. • Ability to work independently and as part of a team. • Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
