Protocol Education are looking for a SEND Teaching Assistant to join our dedicated team at a warm and inclusive specialist school at the heart of Durham. About the role You’ll be working in a supported team that nurture children with: Autism and communication needs, Physical disabilities, Severe learning difficulties, Complex health needs. As a SEND Teaching Assistant you will work closely with teachers and other support staff to deliver tailored interventions and strategies to meet the individual needs of each child. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who wants to make a real difference in the lives of children with special educational needs. What we are looking for: You will have experience working with children with SEND, ideally in a school setting. You will be able to work effectively as part of a team and build strong relationships with colleagues, parents and carers.
