Teaching Assistant needed for a Y4 pupil working 1:1

Monarch Education is working in partnership with a school in Downend, South Gloucestershire. You will be supporting a Year 2 pupil with ASD. The child's behaviour is balanced but they need additional support to attend lessons and stay on task. The role is starting on 3rd September 2025

Monarch Education values the role of a teaching assistant and recognises the significant positive impact that a teaching assistant can bring to a classroom and to the pupils. We therefore offer up to £105.89 per day.

Hours

The school hours are 08:30 - 3:30 each day Monday to Friday.

Skills Base

• Display patience, resilience and empathy
• Good knowledge of the curriculum would be beneficial but not essential
• A knowledge of ASD is a benefit
• Experience working in a school or education based setting preferable but not essential
