SEND Support Assistant

At Leader Education, we are seeking a Support Assistant to support children within a SEND school who cater for both primary and secondary students, this school is based in Choppington, Northumberland. The ideal Learning Support Assistant will have had previous experience working with young people as well as a genuine interest and commitment to helping them reach their full potential.

The successful Candidate will:

• Candidates will need an enhanced DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) check or the willingness to obtain one
• Ideally have experience in a classroom setting or have transferrable skills
• Have a passion for teaching and learning with the ability to make learning enjoyable and fun
• Prepare and adapt learning materials to meet the needs of students
• Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills and a commitment to collaborative working
