SENCo
Full Time
0.00 - 55000.00
Job description
How would you like to get paid for five days, but only work four? At Outcomes First Group, we believe in better work/life balance — and we’re putting wellbeing first. That’s why we’re proud to be part of a 4-Day Working Week (4DWW) trial, where you can work one day less each week (or equivalent hours), while still receiving your full-time pay. Many of our schools have already introduced the 4DWW — and others are preparing to roll it out as soon as they reach full staffing. So, whether it’s already rolled out in your new role or you’re waiting for it to arrive, you’ll be joining a company that’s committed to putting people first. About the role As a SENCo, you’ll play a pivotal role in creating a supportive and inclusive learning environment for our students. You’ll be responsible for: * Overseeing and coordinating the provision for students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) and disabilities. * Collaborating with teachers, parents, and external agencies to develop and implement individualised education plans (IEPs). * Monitoring student progress and adjusting support strategies as needed. * Providing guidance and support to teaching staff on SEN-related matters. * Ensuring the school’s policies and practices comply with SEN legislation. Who we’re looking for We’re seeking a passionate and dedicated SENCo who is committed to making a positive impact on the lives of our students. The ideal candidate will have: * Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent. * A recognised SENCo qualification (e.g., NASENCo). * Proven experience working with students with SEN. * Strong knowledge of SEN legislation and best practices. * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. * The ability to work effectively as part of a team. Why join us? * 4-Day Working Week: Experience a better work/life balance with our 4-Day Working Week trial (subject to school rollout). * Professional Development: Access to ongoing training and development opportunities. * Supportive Environment: Be part of a caring and collaborative team. * Make a Difference: Contribute to the education and well-being of young people. * Career Progression: Opportunities for advancement within the Outcomes First Group. * Competitive Salary: Receive a competitive salary that reflects your skills and experience. * Wellbeing Support: Access to our Employee Assistance Programme. * Pension: Enrolment in our pension scheme. Outcomes First Group is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people. All successful applicants will be subject to an enhanced DBS check and other relevant pre-employment checks. We are an equal opportunities employer and welcome applications from all suitably qualified persons.
