Job description

We are Seeking Tutors in Kettering for Students Awaiting Alternative Provision We are seeking experienced and passionate teachers to join a dedicated team working with students currently out of mainstream education. These students have been excluded or have Special Educational Needs and/or Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs, and are awaiting placement at an alternative provision. Key Responsibilities: Provide tailored teaching and support to students who are temporarily out of mainstream education due to exclusion or SEMH needs. This will involve working closely with the student's social worker and other professionals to develop a personalized learning plan that meets their individual needs. The tutor will also be responsible for maintaining accurate records of student progress, including attendance, behavior, and academic achievement. Requirements: * Experience of teaching students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) or SEMH needs; * Ability to work flexibly and adapt to changing circumstances; * Strong communication and interpersonal skills; * Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information discreetly.
