SEN Teaching Assistant

SEN Teaching Assistant – Croydon Location: Croydon Start Date: ASAP Contract Type: Full-time / Long-term Protocol Education are looking for a caring and motivated SEN Teaching Assistant to join one of our welcoming partner schools in Croydon . You will be supporting pupils with a variety of special educational needs such as Autism (ASD), ADHD, and Moderate Learning Difficulties (MLD). The ideal candidate will have a patient and empathetic approach , along with a genuine passion for supporting children with SEN. Responsibilities: * Provide 1:1 or small group support to pupils with SEN. * Assist the teacher with classroom management and preparation. * Help create a positive and inclusive learning environment. * Support pupils with their academic, social, and emotional development. * Adapt activities to meet the individual needs of pupils. * Communicate effectively with teachers, parents, and other professionals. Requirements: * Experience working with children with SEN is essential. * A patient, caring, and empathetic approach. * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. * A genuine passion for supporting children with SEN. * The ability to work as part of a team. * A relevant qualification (e.g., CACHE Level 3). * Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).
