Pay Rate: £150 – £250 per day (depending on experience)

GSL Education are currently seeking a committed SEN Teacher to join a specialist school in Sheffield (S12). This is an excellent opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of pupils by providing tailored teaching and creating an inclusive learning environment.

Role Overview:
As an SEN Teacher, you will deliver tailored lessons for pupils with additional learning needs, create a nurturing environment, and collaborate with staff and families to support academic and personal growth.

As an SEN Teacher, you will:

• Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons to meet the needs of pupils with SEN.
• Create a safe, supportive, and inclusive classroom environment.
• Use a variety of teaching strategies and resources to engage learners.
• Support pupils’ social, emotional, and academic development.
• Work collaboratively with teaching assistants, SENCOs, and external professionals.
• Uphold high standards of safeguarding and pupil welfare.

Requirements for SEN Teacher:

• UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is mandatory.
• Experience teaching pupils with SEN, ideally in a specialist setting.
• Strong knowledge of SEN strategies and differentiated teaching.
• Excellent communication, organisational, and behaviour management skills.
• An enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
• A full CV covering the last 10 years, with explanations for any gaps.
