SEMH Teacher – Year 7 – Alternative Provision – Solihull An Alternative Provision in Solihull is looking to appoint a passionate and resilient SEMH Teacher to lead a Year 7 class. This is a fantastic opportunity for a dedicated teacher who is committed to supporting students with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs and helping them thrive in their learning journey. As the SEMH Teacher for this Year 7 group, you will deliver a broad and balanced curriculum to a small class of pupils with SEMH needs, using a range of teaching strategies and approaches to meet the individual needs of each student. You will work closely with the SENCO and other professionals to develop and implement Individual Education Plans (IEPs) that support the students' learning and well-being. The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate a strong understanding of SEMH and its impact on pupils' learning, as well as experience in teaching students with SEMH needs. You will also have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.
