Job Requirements:

- Higher education in technical field, long-term studies.

- Thorough knowledge of organic and inorganic chemistry.

- Professional experience: minimum 2 years.

- Completion of specific training/specialization courses in management.

- Communication and teamwork skills.

- Firmness, objectivity, good organizer, professional competence.

- Advanced English language skills.

- Normal physical and mental health status.

Responsibilities:

- Ensure efficient administrative management of the wastewater treatment plant and motivate subordinates.

- Ensure that production processes in subordinate facilities are carried out under controlled conditions.

- Monitor the achievement of indicators specified in the Integrated Environmental Permit and work towards their improvement.

- Find solutions for treating wastewater and liquid waste in collaboration with the laboratory.

- Take measures for the rational and complete utilization of production capacities without foreseeable risk, through directives within the limits of the Manufacturing Regulations.

- Create conditions for investment works to be carried out concurrently with production activities.

- Ensure the application of established technologies for technological processes and make proposals for improving operation and reducing consumption.

- Order the shutdown and startup of installations in case of breakdowns or other factors that impede proper functioning or endanger human life and plant safety, as well as for maintenance works.

- Prepare and approve the necessary raw materials, chemicals, and materials.

- Participate in the development of strategies for solving existing problems within the plant.

- Propose investments to reduce maintenance costs and improve technological processes.

- Organize activities so that they are carried out without Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) incidents and without accidental pollution of soil or water.

- In case of deficiencies in the plant's operation, collaborate with other operators to return to normal operating conditions.

- Correctly use, maintain, and handle work tools/equipment and personal protective equipment.

- Participate in specific training in the field of quality, environment, occupational health and safety conducted by external bodies or by personnel from the SSMC Directorate.

- Ensure the execution of exercises for emergency situations and response capacity and maintain records of these activities.
