Truck Service Manager

Transport company with its own service is looking for a Truck Service Manager

📍 Crevedia, Dambovita
🕒 Schedule: Mon–Fri, 08:00–16:30

The company has an internal service for a fleet of approximately 60 trucks (MAN, Volvo, Schmitz semi-trailers).

Main responsibilities:

• Coordinates the activity in its own service and works closely with the Service Manager for the efficient organization of the flow in the garage;
• Establishes priorities in the service, depending on the urgency and operational impact;
• Plans and monitors revisions and repairs, with a clear objective of reducing downtime;
• Supervises the team of mechanics and verifies the correctness and quality of the executed works;
• Performs road tests after repairs and validates the vehicle handover;
• Manages the need for parts and negotiates with suppliers to obtain the best conditions;
• Monitors and optimizes maintenance costs, so that the fleet is as much on the road and as little in service as possible.

Requirements:

• Technical studies
• C+E driving license – mandatory
• Real experience in heavy vehicle mechanics
• Experience in coordination (service or fleet) - advantage
• Good knowledge of Excel and PC operation.
