Production Section Manager

We are looking for an organized and efficient production section manager, capable of coordinating the team and the two production lines, communicating with clients about order status, and ensuring timely production completion, to the quality standards of Valedo Systems. The Role of the Production Manager in our company:

The Production Manager coordinates, plans, and optimizes Valedo Systems' production processes, ensuring compliance with quality standards, delivery deadlines, and safety regulations. They manage the production team, ensure the necessary raw materials for the plan, and monitor the workflow through the Odoo work centers.

Key Elements:

• Coordinating the two production lines — the rails line and the panels line — through the Odoo work centers.
• Ensuring raw materials (glass, aluminum profiles, painting) to meet the plan.
• Communicating with the client about order status and deadlines.
• Managing the team, quality, and safety regulations.

Here are some essential responsibilities of this role:

• Organizing production based on confirmed orders and adjusting the automatically generated plan in Odoo, according to raw material availability.
• Ensuring raw materials: sending glass and profile orders to suppliers, drawing glass sketches for projects with atypical cutouts, and confirming painting orders (extra colors and storable profiles).
• Coordinating the two production lines (rails and panels) and planning capacity based on the number of panels processed.
• Managing the production team: coordinating daily activities, evaluating performance, training, and approving leave so as not to affect production.
• Communicating with the client: relaying requirements to the team, order status, deadline changes, and unexpected situations.
• Monitoring and optimizing processes to reduce material waste and downtime.
• Ensuring quality, managing non-conforming products and technological waste (registration, stock movements, and raw material valorization).
• Maintaining and servicing equipment, in collaboration with technical teams.
• Complying with safety regulations (SSM and PSI) and providing periodic team training.

And to face the challenges and perform your role as best as possible, you will need the following key skills:

• A minimum of 3 years of experience in production coordination in an industrial environment.
• Solid knowledge of production processes and work team management.
• Experience using an ERP (preferably Odoo) for production planning and management.
• Excellent leadership, organizational, and analytical skills.
• Ability to make quick and effective decisions.
• Knowledge of SSM, PSI regulations, and quality standards.
• An advantage: experience in the production of sliding systems, aluminum profile processing, or glass panel assembly, and certifications in Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma.
