Head of Aluminum Carpentry Production Department

We are looking for an organized and efficient production department head, capable of coordinating the team and the two production lines, communicating with clients about order status, and ensuring timely production completion to Valedo Systems' quality standards. The Role of the Production Head in our company:

The Production Head coordinates, plans, and optimizes Valedo Systems' production processes, ensuring adherence to quality standards, delivery deadlines, and safety regulations. They manage the production team, ensure the necessary raw materials for the plan, and track the flow through Odoo work centers.

Key Elements:

• Coordination of the two production lines — the rail line and the panel line — through Odoo work centers.
• Ensuring raw material supply (glass, aluminum profiles, painting) to meet the plan.
• Communication with the client regarding order status and deadlines.
• Team, quality, and safety regulation management.

Here are some essential responsibilities of this role:

• Organizing production based on confirmed orders and adjusting the automatically generated plan in Odoo according to raw material availability.
• Ensuring raw material supply: sending glass and profile orders to suppliers, drawing glass sketches for projects with atypical cutouts, and confirming painting orders (extra colors and storable profiles).
• Coordinating the two production lines (rails and panels) and planning capacity based on the number of panels processed.
• Managing the production team: coordinating daily activities, performance evaluation, training, and approving leaves without affecting production.
• Communication with the client: conveying requirements to the team, order status, deadline changes, and unexpected situations.
• Monitoring and optimizing processes to reduce material waste and downtime.
• Ensuring quality, managing non-conforming products and technological rejects (recording, stock movements, and raw material valorization).
• Maintenance and upkeep of machinery in collaboration with technical teams.
• Adherence to safety regulations (SSM and PSI) and periodic team training.

And to face the challenges and perform your role as best as possible, you will need the following key skills:

• Minimum 3 years of experience in production coordination in an industrial environment.
• Solid knowledge of production processes and work team management.
• Experience in using an ERP (preferably Odoo) for production planning and management.
• Excellent leadership, organizational, and analytical skills.
• Ability for quick and effective decision-making.
• Knowledge of SSM, PSI regulations, and quality standards.
• An advantage: experience in the production of sliding systems, aluminum profile processing, or glass panel assembly, and certifications in Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma.
