Job description

IDEAL CANDIDATE

Requirements:

·    Higher technical education in the field of construction completed (Civil, Industrial and Agricultural Constructions, Construction Installations or similar);

·    Minimum 5 years of experience in managing construction works contracts, both in the public sector, including contracts awarded through public procurement procedures (SEAP/SICAP), and in the private sector;

·    Knowledge of legislation and technical regulations applicable in the construction field, current norms and standards, as well as execution technologies specific to the coordinated works;

·    MS Office knowledge – Word, Excel, AutoCAD;

·    Knowledge of OSH (Occupational Safety and Health), Fire Safety (PSI) regulations and construction legislation;

·    Seriousness, attention to detail, professional commitment;

·    Coordination, planning, and decision-making skills;

·    Good communication and teamwork skills;

·    Availability for travel, if projects require it;

·    Category B driving license.

JOB DESCRIPTION

Responsibilities:

·    Monitor and coordinate the execution activities of works on the assigned construction site and be responsible for their smooth operation, respecting the Technical Execution Project, the Execution Details, the deadlines set by the execution schedule, as well as the quality requirements provided in the Quality Plan and the Quality Control, Verification and Testing Plan;

 ·     Prepare the necessary materials, equipment, and human resources for the execution of works on the assigned construction site, in correlation with the activities and deadlines established by the execution schedule;

·   Plan, organize, and coordinate the daily activity of workers and work teams on the assigned construction site, assign personnel to activities and work areas, and monitor the realization of works and their productivity, in relation to the established targets and deadlines;

 ·     Prepare and verify supporting documents related to work situations, including minutes, attachments, measurements, and quantity summaries, so that they reflect the works actually executed on site;

 ·   Supervise and verify works executed by subcontractors on the assigned construction site and monitor compliance with the Technical Execution Project, Execution Details, quality requirements, and established deadlines, as well as the consistency of reported quantities with those actually executed in the field;

 ·     Identify technical problems that arise during execution and propose solutions for their resolution, and when the resolution requires modifications or clarifications of the project, report them and forward them for analysis and approval to the responsible persons;

 ·     Continuously monitor the physical progress of the works and update the execution schedule according to the actual progress on site, highlight any delays or deviations from the established deadlines, and propose measures for their recovery;

 ·     Ensure that the activity on the construction site is carried out in safe conditions, respecting the applicable OSH and PSI norms and measures, and monitor their compliance by own personnel and subcontractors.
