Job Description: Production Manager Metal Fabrication Workshop

We are hiring a workshop manager for the production department of various metal fabrications.

Coordination of a production team of 20 employees. Unique pieces are produced, not serial production. Metal fabrications for industrial halls, tanks, storage tanks, various custom metal fabrications.

Main Responsibilities:

• Coordination and supervision of the entire production process in the workshop;
• Planning and organization of the workflow to ensure deadlines and management objectives are met;
• Analyzes, plans, organizes, and coordinates the internal/logistical resources of the production department to achieve objectives;
• Organizes and supervises the activities of subordinate personnel and manages information related to working hours;
• Verifies the correct execution of work processes and all operations performed in the production workshop;
• Evaluates and logs daily the activities of employees under his supervision;
• Transmits a daily report with the activities and achievements of the department;
• Training personnel on technological processes, machinery, and adherence to production system documentation;
• Training personnel on occupational safety regulations;
• Knowledge of technological processes, machinery, and adherence to production system documentation;
• Understanding and mastering the technological processes of projects;
• Ensuring the quality of finished products and maintaining high work standards;
• Management of materials and equipment stocks necessary in the workshop;
• Supervision, constant guidance of the work team, and providing feedback and support;
• Collaboration and subordination to the Technical Director and company management.

Requirements:

• High school graduate/university degree is an advantage;
• Relevant previous experience in the industrial production of machinery, with a minimum of 3 years of experience
• Solid technical knowledge, ability to read and understand technical drawings, project sketches
• Excellent communication and team coordination skills for a workforce of 20 people
• Ability to work under pressure and efficiently manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Very good understanding of technical language,
• Orientation towards achieving and exceeding the proposed daily production, with increased attention to quality.
• Flexibility, creativity, and team spirit.
• Proven ability to make strategic decisions and resolve operational problems that arise.
