Construction Laboratory Manager

Requirements:

- "Laboratory Manager" authorization issued by the State Inspectorate in Construction, valid

- English language, intermediate level

- Previous total experience: Laboratory Manager, minimum 5 years

Job Responsibilities

- Prepares the Quality Manual for the Laboratory and submits it for verification to the Quality Manager;

- Prepares the necessary documentation and is responsible for the project laboratory's authorization (ISC Authorization for performing laboratory tests and verifications).

- Prepares the list of drafts and tests to be performed on materials and works required by the contract;

- Drafts the Calibration Program for testing, measuring, and testing equipment used and keeps updated, for each, the data sheets of the testing and measuring equipment;

- Controls the calibration status of the equipment entrusted to him/her;

- Keeps the calibration certificates for the equipment and continuously monitors their status;

- Organizes the execution of the necessary tests to attest the quality of the materials used in the construction and verifies their results;

- Interacts with external Laboratories if needed;

- Verifies the results on samples performed by external laboratories and informs the Quality Manager, Construction Manager;

- Keeps/archives/continuously finalizes all registration documentation related to samples taken, type of works performed, values-results of tests performed on samples, etc.;

- Collaborates with the Production Department for the identification and sampling of specimens to be subjected to tests according to current laws/regulations and the technical specifications;

- Manages the sampling of material during project activities and guarantees their registration.

- Keeps / archives / continuously finalizes all documentation regarding controls and approvals performed by the laboratory;

- Ensures the correct management and calibration of testing, measuring, and approval equipment used in the laboratory;

- Collaborates with the Quality Manager regarding the preparation of the Project Quality Assurance Plan;

- Coordinates the activity of all field managers, laboratory technicians, and ensures that they comply with all technical testing procedures and equipment usage instructions.

- Collaborates in preparing the Supervisor's monthly report and the updated report on the progress of works from a physical and financial point of view.
