Laboratory Manager in Construction (Roads)

A company specializing in construction laboratories for roads is hiring a LABORATORY MANAGER with experience in the field for its Botosani location.

Responsibilities:

· Coordinates the activities carried out within the laboratory, from a technical and organizational point of view; analyzes and decides on all actions undertaken by the department heads;

· Monitors the laboratory's adherence to contract execution and takes measures to eliminate deficiencies.

· Ensures the implementation of the management system within the laboratory.

· Ensures the obtaining of necessary authorization and is responsible for the laboratory's compliance with the conditions imposed for authorization.

· Manages incoming orders for execution.

· Receives samples and assigns them to the department heads.

· Verifies test results, calculations, and data transfer, approves the test report.

· Authorizes the obtained results by signing the test report.

· Stores orders, work sheets, and issued test reports.

· Ensures the continuous training and development of personnel; identifies training needs and draws up the training program, conducts scheduled training sessions as a lecturer.

· Supervises the activity of all laboratory personnel.

· Monitors the execution of determinations in accordance with the provisions of the work procedure/method standard/technical norm.

· Ensures that:

- The laboratory is equipped with all the testing/measuring equipment necessary for the tests to be performed;

- The testing/measuring equipment is in working order;

- Measuring devices have valid calibration certificates;

- Equipment has work instructions and labels attesting to up-to-date calibration.

· Verifies the annual calibration and equipment maintenance program.
