Security Site Manager

Job Title: Security Site Manager Location: Steenberg/Retreat, Cape Town We are seeking a highly experienced and organized Security Site Manager to oversee all security operations at our site. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in security management and a proven track record of success in enforcing security protocols and procedures. Responsibilities: - Develop and implement security policies and procedures to ensure the safety and security of the site - Supervise security personnel, including training, scheduling, and performance management - Conduct regular site inspections and risk assessments to identify security vulnerabilities - Monitor and maintain security systems, including CCTV, access control, and alarm systems - Investigate security incidents and prepare detailed reports - Liaise with law enforcement and other relevant authorities as needed - Manage the security budget and ensure cost-effective operations - Ensure compliance with all relevant security regulations and standards - Oversee the procurement and maintenance of security equipment and supplies - Provide security awareness training to staff Requirements: - Proven experience as a Security Manager or similar role - Excellent knowledge of security protocols and procedures - Strong leadership and management skills - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Ability to work under pressure and make sound decisions - Ability to analyze and resolve security issues - Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite - Relevant security qualifications (e.g., PSIRA registration) - Valid driver's license Benefits: - Competitive salary - Medical aid - Pension fund - Opportunities for professional development
