Security Platform Engineer

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Security Platform Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our security engineering group, you will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining our security platforms, ensuring the highest level of security and compliance with industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, build, and maintain security platforms using various technologies such as AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, and on-premises infrastructure

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize security requirements and implement solutions that meet those needs

• Develop and maintain automation scripts and tools to streamline security processes and improve efficiency

• Conduct thorough risk assessments and vulnerability scans to identify potential security threats and develop mitigation strategies

• Stay up-to-date with the latest security trends, technologies, and best practices, and apply that knowledge to continuously improve our security posture

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Assurance, or a related field

• 5+ years of experience in security engineering, with a focus on cloud-based security platforms and automation

• Strong understanding of security principles, protocols, and technologies, including but not limited to: firewalls, VPNs, IDS/IPS, SIEM, and threat intelligence

• Experience with scripting languages such as Python, PowerShell, or Bash, and familiarity with DevOps tools like Docker, Kubernetes, and Jenkins

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
