Job description

Securiguard is hiring for a full-time Security Operations Center Supervisor . The Supervisor will oversee the daily operations of the National Operations Support Center (NOSC), ensuring that all communications, monitoring, and support functions are performed efficiently and effectively. This role requires strong leadership, excellent communication skills, lateral thinking and a deep understanding of security operations and technology. What would you do: Provide daily leadership, coaching, and performance management to a team of security professionals. Monitor security systems, alarms, and surveillance equipment, responding to incidents and escalating as needed. Manage and prioritize incident response activities, ensuring timely and effective resolution. Develop and implement security procedures, protocols, and training programs. Conduct regular audits and reviews of security systems and procedures. Liaise with internal and external stakeholders, including clients, law enforcement, and emergency services. Maintain accurate records of incidents, investigations, and other relevant information. Ensure compliance with all relevant security regulations and standards. Manage the scheduling and staffing of the NOSC, ensuring adequate coverage at all times. Continuously improve security operations and processes, identifying and implementing best practices. What do you bring: Minimum 3-5 years of experience in security operations, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role. In-depth knowledge of security systems, including access control, video surveillance, and intrusion detection. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills. Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities. Ability to remain calm and focused under pressure. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Proficiency in computer systems and software applications. Ability to write clear and concise reports. Knowledge of relevant security regulations and standards. A valid security license is required. Post-secondary education in a related field is an asset. Experience with security incident response and investigation. Experience with emergency management and business continuity planning.
