Security Officer

Job Role: Security Officer Working Hours: 4 on 4 off shift pattern (07:00-19:00) - average 42 hours per week Pay: £12.96 per hour Location: CEVA EMA, Unit 11 Wilders Way, Kegworth, Derby, DE74 2BB Reporting to: Operations Manager/Regional Supervisors Overview An exciting opportunity has arisen at Anchor Group Services, for an experienced Security Officer to join our established security team based at Ceva East Midlands Gateway, Derby. The successful candidate must have a valid SIA Licence as a condition of employment. Key Responsibilities and Duties: * Ensure the safety and security of all personnel, visitors and assets within the designated area. * Conduct regular patrols of the site to identify and report any potential security breaches or incidents. * Respond promptly and effectively to alarms, incidents and emergencies. * Maintain accurate records of all incidents, accidents and near misses. * Develop and maintain good working relationships with colleagues, customers and stakeholders. * Demonstrate a commitment to health, safety and environmental policies and procedures. * Comply with all relevant company policies and procedures. * Be prepared to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends and public holidays as required. * Be prepared to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing circumstances. * Maintain confidentiality at all times. * Be aware of and comply with all relevant legislation and regulations. * Participate in training and development programs to enhance knowledge and skills. * Contribute to the continuous improvement of processes and procedures. * Demonstrate a commitment to equality, diversity and inclusion. * Be prepared to work as part of a team to achieve common goals. * Maintain a high level of physical fitness and be able to lift and move equipment as required. * Be prepared to work in a variety of weather conditions.
