Security Managed Services Engineer (L2)

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Security Managed Services Engineer (L2) to join our team. The Security Managed Services Engineer (L2) will be responsible for providing security monitoring, incident response, and security operations support for our clients. This role requires a strong understanding of security principles, network security, and security technologies. Responsibilities: * Monitoring security systems and alerts to identify and respond to security incidents. * Investigating and resolving security incidents, including malware outbreaks, data breaches, and other security events. * Performing vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify security weaknesses. * Implementing and maintaining security controls, such as firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and security information and event management (SIEM) systems. * Developing and maintaining security documentation, including incident response plans and standard operating procedures. * Providing technical support to clients on security-related issues. * Staying up-to-date on the latest security threats and vulnerabilities. * Participating in on-call rotation. Qualifications: * Bachelor's degree in computer science, information security, or a related field. * 3+ years of experience in security operations or a related field. * Strong understanding of security principles, network security, and security technologies. * Experience with security monitoring tools, such as SIEM, intrusion detection systems, and vulnerability scanners. * Experience with incident response and malware analysis. * Experience with firewalls, intrusion prevention systems, and other security controls. * Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills. * Ability to work independently and as part of a team. * Relevant certifications, such as CISSP, CISM, or Security+.
