Security Engineer (m/w/d)

We are looking for you as a team member for our location Bochum. Join thinkGROUP and support us as a Security Engineer (m/w/d).

Tasks

• Planning, implementation, and further development of security concepts for our customer infrastructure
• Conducting risk analyses, vulnerability scans, and penetration tests
• Setting up, configuring, and operating security solutions
• Incident Response: Analyze and handle security-relevant incidents
• Advising our customers on best practices in the field of Cyber Security, Awareness, and Compliance
• Tight cooperation with our system administrators, network experts, and project managers

Qualification

• Completed technical studies or equivalent training (e.g. Fachinformatiker/in Systemintegration)
• In-depth knowledge of IT security technologies
• Experience with firewalls, IDS/IPS, endpoint security, and SIEM systems
• Safe handling of Windows- and Linux-based environments
• Knowledge in the field of network and cloud security (Azure, M365, AWS advantageous)
• Analytical thinking, structured working style, and high self-initiative
• Good German and English skills in writing and speaking
