Security Engineer

As a Security Engineer at Menlo Research, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining the security posture of our robot platform and software stack. This includes: * Developing and implementing secure protocols and architectures for communication between robots and with external systems. * Conducting threat modeling and risk assessments to identify potential vulnerabilities in our system. * Collaborating with cross-functional teams to integrate security controls into our development process. * Staying up-to-date with the latest security trends, threats, and technologies, and applying this knowledge to continuously improve our security posture. In addition to your technical skills, you will be expected to: * Communicate complex security concepts to non-technical stakeholders. * Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to achieve shared goals. * Prioritize tasks and manage competing demands in a fast-paced environment. * Stay organized and maintain accurate records of your work. Requirements: * Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field. * 3+ years of experience in security engineering or a related field. * Strong understanding of computer networks, operating systems, and security protocols. * Experience with threat modeling, risk assessments, and vulnerability management. * Familiarity with secure coding practices and secure development life cycles. * Excellent communication and collaboration skills. Nice to Have: * CISSP or other relevant certifications. * Experience with cloud-based security solutions. * Knowledge of machine learning and artificial intelligence concepts. * Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools.
