Security Engineer: Endpoint & Web App Defender

A global technology services provider in South Africa is seeking a cybersecurity specialist to manage and secure endpoint environments. Responsibilities include detecting and remediating threats, enforcing security policies, and educating users on best practices. Candidates should possess strong skills in cybersecurity operations and valid certifications such as Microsoft Security and SentinelOne. The role demands attention to detail and a solid understanding of regulatory compliance in security. The ideal candidate will have experience in endpoint security, web application security, and threat hunting. The role also requires strong analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing security policies, conducting security assessments and risk analyses, and providing training and awareness programs for users.
