Security Engineer (all genders)

Our clients develop complex software and system solutions with high requirements for cybersecurity and reliability.
This is not just about identifying vulnerabilities, but about understanding systems in such a way that sustainable security solutions are created.

You contribute by analyzing systems, assessing risks, and jointly implementing concrete improvements. Typical tasks from IT operations, infrastructure monitoring, or SOC are not the focus of this role. Instead, you can expect:

• You analyze systems and applications, identify security risks, and derive concrete improvement measures.
• You conduct security assessments and security tests for applications, APIs, cloud environments, and other technical systems.
• You conceptualize and develop viable security solutions together with other engineers and stakeholders, and evaluate technical approaches.
• You accompany security improvements from analysis through conceptualization to implementation in real systems.
• You review the effectiveness of measures and continuously develop existing solutions.
  

• You have 2-4 years of practical experience in IT security or software development and have worked on real systems.
• You understand how modern systems and applications are structured (e.g., APIs, Cloud), can assess security risks, and develop solutions for them.
• You work analytically and solution-oriented, want to truly understand systems, and can clearly discuss technical topics.
• You possess very good German and English language skills (minimum C1 level) for clear and confident communication within the team and with our partners.
• You don't just want to operate or monitor security, but actively integrate it into applications and systems and develop technical security solutions.

Within our salary framework, the gross annual salary for the position falls within a range of EUR 58,000 - 70,000 per year and depends on various factors such as qualifications and experience.
